When I was feeling neglectful and anguished,

He sent me the Eastern Star to remind me.
When I was questioning my faith,
I asked God for fidelity,
He sent the York Rite to guide me.
When I was feeling perplexed.
I asked God to help me better understand,
He sent the Scottish Rite to teach me.
When I was feeling lonely,
I asked God for camaraderie,
He sent the Grotto to include me.
When I was feeling unappreciative,
I asked God to make me unpretentious,
He sent the Shrine to humble me.
Whenever I felt darkness in any form,
I would ask God,
He sent me the craft in all ways.
For no matter what, no matter when,
Nor where, or how, or why, or with who.
When I asked God for help, he would deliver unto me, my Brothers.
